Most hobby box products and trading cards are designed for collectors and are typically recommended for ages 6 and up or 13 and up, depending on the specific manufacturer (Panini, Topps, etc.).
- WARNING: Trading cards, card sleeves, and small accessories (like dice or tokens) can be a choking hazard. These items are not toys for infants or toddlers.
- Keep out of reach: Please keep all packaging materials, including plastic shrink-wrap, poly bags, and silica gel packets, away from small children and pets.
2. Sharp Edges & Handling
While rare, the edges of certain premium “thick” cards or metal-substanced cards can be sharp.
- Safe Handling: We recommend adult supervision when children are opening packs or “ripping” boxes.
- Protective Gear: When handling high-value cards, using card sleeves and top-loaders not only protects the card’s value but also ensures safe handling of the card edges.
3. Product Authenticity & Security
To ensure your safety as a consumer and the integrity of your investment:
- Factory Seals: Only purchase products that are fully factory-sealed. If you receive a package from us where the outer shipping box appears heavily tampered with or opened, please take photos and contact contactsupport@magenta-donkey-472895.hostingersite.com immediately before opening the product itself.
- Storage Safety: Store your hobby boxes in a cool, dry place. Extreme heat can cause card surfaces to “brick” (stick together), and moisture can lead to mold, which may pose a health risk if inhaled.
4. “Blind” Purchase Disclosure (The Nature of the Hobby)
By purchasing a hobby box, you acknowledge the following safety and financial notices:
- Randomized Content: Hobby boxes contain randomized “hits” and inserts. Chase Gems does not guarantee the inclusion of any specific player, card, or autograph within a sealed box.
- Market Volatility: Trading cards are collectibles and their market value can fluctuate significantly. Purchases should be made for the enjoyment of the hobby.
